Leticia Aguilar is a third-generation ceramicist from Ocotlán de Morelos, Oaxaca, the daughter of folk artist Josefina Aguilar. Continuing her family's tradition, she hand-sculpts vibrant "muñecas" and polychrome clay figures depicting womanhood, indigenous myths, and daily rural life. Her work stands out for its attention to detail, expressive faces, and a signature use of bright color that brings raw clay to life.
