This magnificent Árbol de la Vida (Tree of Life), by Leopoldo Aguilar, showcases his immaculate detail and vibrant barro policromado technique of Ocotlán de Morelos. The sculpture intricately weaves together biblical narratives and traditional Oaxacan symbolism, featuring Adam and Eve at the base beneath a canopy teeming with meticulously rendered figures and blossoms.
