The piece features the traditional Reisado characters Dr. and Dona Joana riding the iconic bull to represent a moment of high celebration and communal storytelling. The characters are dressed in decorative gala-style attire featuring Dona Joana in a dress reminiscent of traditional wedding or festival lace and are finished with the bold oil paints that define the masterful ceramic legacy of the Eudócio family.
